Abstract:
This dataset supports the University of Southampton Doctoral Heritage Thesis "Language Acquisition under Feature Reassembly: The development of Spanish viewpoint aspect morphology by heritage speakers in the United Kingdom." Data collected from 25 child heritage speakers and 16 of their parents for a thesis entitled "Heritage Language Acquisition under Feature Reassembly: The development of Spanish tense-aspect morphology by heritage speakers in the United Kingdom". Includes transcripts of narrative retelling tasks by parents and children in Spanish and English, biographical information of child participants, and results of a semantic interpretation task. ...
